• IIT JAM 2017 is open to all nationals, be it
  Indian or other foreign citizen.
• This year IIT Delhi is going to be the conducting
  authority for Joint admission test.
• There are two basic eligibility criteria that one
  need to fulfillEducational qualification
  (Degree in concerned subject)Compulsory subject
  in 102.
• Another thing is to remember is 55 aggregate
  percentage required to get admission through IIT
  JAM

• There is no age restriction for iit jam
  aspirants.

IIT JAM Eligibility 2017 Minimum Educational
qualification

• Bachelors degree in respective subject. For e.g.
  If you want to apply for IIT JAM Mathematics then
  you must have a bachelors degree in the same
  subject.
• There are different educational qualification
  criteria for different participating institutes.
• Candidate must have bachelors degree or must be
  pursuing in the final year of bachelors degree.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

• Candidates should have at least 55 aggregate
  marks without rounding off (taking into account
  all subjects, including languages and
  subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/OBC
  (NCL) Category candidates
• At least 50 aggregate marks without rounding off
  (taking into account all subjects, including
  languages and subsidiaries, all years combined)
  for SC/ST and PwD Category candidates in the
  qualifying degree.

For distance B.sc degree candidates

• The candidates who have obtained B.Sc. degree
  through Distance Education/Correspondence Mode
  and are desirous of admission to M.Sc.
  Mathematics or M.Sc. Physics programmes of IIT
  Madras will have to appear for an additional
  interview.
