Talking about his education, he has done his
Bachelors in Medicine and Bachelors in Surgery
(MBBS) from J.J.M. Medical College, Karnataka,
India. He completed his Internship and Residency
in Internal Medicine from Winthrop University
Hospital. Later, he completed his Postdoctoral
Fellowship in Cardiology from the same University
Hospital.

Dr. Jose Poulose started his career as a Medical
House Officer in Emergency Medicine at Christian
Medical College and Hospital, Vellore, Tamil
Nadu, India. After this, he served as a Chief
Resident in Internal Medicine at Winthrop
University Hospital. Also, he ran his own
Cardiology Solo Private Practice at Williston
Park, New York for six years (July 05 November
8th 2011). Later, he served as a Senior Medical
Consultant at Bioscience Clinical Laboratory,
Port Washington, NY.

Dr. Jose Poulose has many accomplishments under
his belt. For the year 2005-06, he received
Attending of the year award at Winthrop
University Hospital, NY. He also won Americas
Registry of Outstanding Professionals award for
his great work. In addition to these honors, he
also won Strathmores Whos Who (2005-06) and
Vitals.com patient choice award (2009, 2010, and
2011).

During his medical practice, Dr. Jose Poulose did
not charge a fee from the poor and uninsured
patients. He also raised 10, 000 with the help
of his friends to complete a stalled clinic
project in Morogoro, Tanzania.
