Periodontal diseases range from simple gum
inflammation to serious disease that results in
major damage to the soft tissue and bone that
support the teeth. In the worst cases, teeth are

Tartar
Tartar, called calculus dent tense in Latin, is
plaque that has hardened on your teeth. Tartar
can also form at and below the gum line and can
irritate gum tissue. Tartar gives plaque more
surface area to grow and a much stickier surface,
which can lead to more serious conditions, such
as cavities and gum disease.

Tooth Whitening

• Most of us start with sparkling white teeth,
  thanks to their porcelain-like enamel. Tooth
  enamel is composed of microscopic crystalline
  rods and is designed to protect teeth from the
  effects of chewing, gnashing, trauma and acid
  attacks caused by sugar.
