2. Reduction of 457 Visa Holder Stay Period After
End of Contract

• The stay period of 457 visa holder, once the
  employment contract with the employer is over has
  been decreased to 60 days from 90 days.

3. Changes in member of the family unit

• A few changes have been made in the eligibility
  criteria of member of the family unit to be
  considered for dependent visas. As per new
  criteria, children and stepchildren above 23 and
  family members outside of the nuclear family are
  ineligible for dependent visa stream.

4. Revalidation Check for few Visa Holders

• Certain visa holders shall now require clearing
  a Revalidation Check to assure that their
  details and information is updated. This will
  also ensure that such visa holders still meet the
  criteria of their individual visas and to
  establish that they are by no means a threat to
  Australia.

5. Changes in Working Holiday Visa

• A few key changes have been made to Australian
  Working Holiday Visa. Now the young people,
  working in north of Australia in a few specific
  industries, i.e. tourism and agriculture shall
  become eligible for a second year long visa.
  Though, a proof will be needed to determine where
  they have worked.
