Plexus Large Wheel
The Large Wheel is built to accommodate large
bodies and offer a more stable surface. It is the
largest wheel on the market and can greatly
improve your backbends. The Large Wheel is
recommended for those 510? tall and/or
moderately flexible.

Postural muscles
Postural muscles are a set of muscles that are
designed to stabilize and mobilize the body.
These muscles are designed for endurance and are
the most utilized set of muscles in the dance
population. The postural muscles are meant to
support and work with the deep core stabilizing
muscles and phasic, or outer unit, muscles of the
body. However, if the deep core muscles and the
phasic muscles arent working properly the
postural muscle will take over and work as
stabilizers and mobilizers.

Fascia and connective tissue
Fascia is everywhere in our bodies. From the
superficial fascia, it dives deep and forms pods
called fascicles that actually create your
musculature from the inside out. Under a
microscope fascia is highly organized in a mesh
formulation of tubules filled with water and
fluids. Fascia has been overlooked for a long
time. Until recently is was viewed as packaging
for our soft tissue, but science is finally
recognizing that fascia is so much more than
that. It is a highly communicative sensory and
proprioceptive tissue.

Butting Heads with Resistance
The emergency brake is there to ensure that the
car stays put. To resist any external force that
may propel your vehicle in any undesirable
direction. It is used to keep the car stationary.
At times the resistance created by the brake is
very desirable but when you are ready to move
forward you have to release the brake. Of course
you could choose to keep the brake on but it
would definitely get in the way of ease and
efficiency and over time would wear the brakes
out.

mUv Flexibility Series
Our Signature Flexibility Series is an incredible
way to assist dancers in deepening their
flexibility and mobility at a safe and efficient
rate. Our series incorporates effective ways to
stretch for optimal results. Students will learn
a wide variety of postures, stretches, sequences
and techniques that address tension and tightness
throughout their entire body. We teach students
about the nervous system and how it regulates
flexibility. Over the series, students will learn
to work with it rather than against it and see a
rapid increase in flexibility.
