Read Extensively

• The subject is meant to instil in students
  cultural literacy. Reading extensively is however
  something students think is pointless or
  uneconomical.
• Indeed, what you will actually use during the
  exams is but a small part of the knowledge you
  would have accumulated.

Comprehend Clearly

• GP requires students to comprehend passages,
  articles, concepts and issues well, whether they
  are found in Paper 2 passages in the exams or
  Paper 1 Essay questions.
• Through comprehension and critical reading
  strategies, students not only increase their
  accuracy but also increase their speed while they
  are answering comprehension questions in the
  exams.

Think Critically

• This is something that most students struggle
  with.
• GP is a subject that requires students to dig
  deeper into issues and ask more questions instead
  of just answering the given one.

Write Fluently

• Fluency and personal style will help the examiner
  know that the candidate is confident in the
  language.
• A good command of the English language cannot be
  faked and needs time to be developed.
