4Collemattoni Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2009
100 Sangiovese.Very beautiful now with
crushed-berry and sliced-lemon-peep aromas and
flavors. Full body, fine tannins and fresh
finish. I like this as much as 2007. Well done.

6Collemattoni Rosso di Montalcino 2014 DOC
Collemattoni Rosso di Montalcino 2014
DOC.Collemattoni is a tiny 7 hectare estate
planted exclusively with Sangiovese Grosso vines
in San Angelo in Colle, on the southern side of
the hill of Montalcino, nestling above the famous
and rather larger Col dOrcia vineyards (145
hectares). The first records mentioning the Bucci
family in the Parish of SantAngelo in Colle date
back to 1798 when Giuseppe Bucci, farmer and
father of a large family appeared in village
records
7Collemattoni Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2010
8Collemattoni Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2010.The
2010 Brunello di Montalcino is a dark, powerful
wine. Black cherry, plum, game, smoke, tobacco
and earthiness abound, but there is more than
enough depth to balance some of the wilder,
gamier undertones. Overall, the 2010 is a bit
rough around the edges, but also intriguing in
its own way. 89 points Antonio Galloni, Vinous
9Costanti Brunello di Montalcino 2007 (Magnum)
Costanti Brunello di Montalcino 2007 (Magnum). The
2007 Costanti Brunello di Montalcino is more
elegant and less explosive than the Riserva.
Exquisite aromatics meld into layers of
expressive fruit in a Brunello that is
surprisingly crystalline for the vintage. Crushed
rocks, minerals and violets emerge over time,
adding considerable finesse

12Collemattoni Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2011
Collemattoni Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
2011.Collemattonis 2011 Brunello di Montalcino
is rich and exuberant, but also very nicely done.
The intensity of the vintage comes through loud
and clear. Although the 2011 is very ripe, the
wines mid-weight sense of structure balances out
some of that raciness. Sweet red cherries, dried
flowers, anise and tobacco add the final shades
of nuance.
13Chateau du Chatelard Beaujolais Villages Vieilles
Vignes 2014
Clay-limestone and granite soils. Bush vines up
to 85 years old. Whole-bunch fermentation.Light
crimson. Classic Gamay aromas of peppery, fresh
dark-red fruit. More white pepper than black
here. Light but moreish and mouth-watering with a
light peppery side to the fruit. Juicy finish and
lightly built. 15.5 points Jancis Robinson
