Our Shush Acoustic Pin Board offer high sound
absorption performance which can be doubled as a
pin board and an acoustic wall panel. Shush
Acoustic Pin Board works Extremely well in
education spaces, multi purpose halls, music
rooms, community halls and many other
environments.

What is Shush Acoustic Pin Board ?
Manufactured from recycled polyester fibre and
provides high sound absorption characteristics.
The core acoustic material is fabricated in a
range of fabric colours and offers significant
sound absorption due to the sound absorption
capacity of the specially designed material.
Shush Acoustic Pin Boards are available in 25mm
thickness and offers Class C acoustic
performance. The core panel has a pin retentive
membrane inside which allows pins to be retained
in the board
Shush Acoustic Pin Boards are used in both
educational and commercial spaces for the display
of notices and such information. The panels do
not leave ugly pin holes and will add colour and
contrast to your room and make any display look
modern. The panels are used not only as pin
boards but allow sound to be absorbed within the
panels to remove any echo and reverberation
within the area concerned.

Shush Acoustic Pin Boards are available in
standard size of 1200 x 600mm 1200 x
1800mm 1200 x 900mm 1200 x 2100mm 1200 x
1200mm 1200 x 2400mm 1200 x 1500mm
1200 x 2700mm Custom sizes are also available.
Technical Acoustic Performance
CLEANING Light dirt marks may be removed by using
a proprietary carpet spot cleaner. A small area
should be tested before doing the rest of the
area to ensure that the fabric is not adversely
affected.
FIRE Shush Acoustic Pin Board core board has
been tested and offers Class O fire rating to
BS476 Part 6. Fabric facing complies with Class
1 to BS476 Part 7. Class O fabrics can be
supplied on request.

WEIGHT Our Shush Acoustic Pin Board panels weigh
in at 3.5kg/m2 for the 25mm thickness panels.
Note All weights are given as approximations.
Installation
Ensure all wall surfaces to which the panel will
be applied to are clean and dry. Panels can be
fixed to most surfaces including concrete,
plasterboard and block work providing they are
solid. Wallpaper should be removed. Gloss paint
roughened. Emulsion paint brushed with a stiff
brush.
Step 1
Spray ShushBond contact adhesive vertically onto
the panels reverse surface and horizontally onto
the desired installation area. !!! ShushBond
should be applied to 100 of the surface area on
both surfaces !!!

Step 2
After waiting for the adhesive to dry (2-5
minutes at 23C) carefully align the panel to the
marked area and push gently - Once confident with
the panel positioning, press firmly over the
ntirety of the surface and ensure maximum contact
has been made with the wall.
Note Panels MUST be checked for colour shading
differences, flaws, defects or damage prior to
installation. Once installation has been
commenced, the panels are deemed to have arrived
in perfect condition any of the above reported
after installation will not be covered by your
warranty

4. Installation Install panels in locations
indicated, top edges level and in alignment with
other panels. Comply with manufactures written
instructions for installation of panels using
type of fixing accessories indicated as
recommended by the manufacturer.
5. Cleaning A. After completion of installation
of panels, remove dust on panels. B. Remove
surplus material, rubbish,and debris resulting
from panel installation, on completion of the
work, and leave areas of installation in a neat
and clean condition.
