  shortcut target.
• Right-click your IE shortcut on your Desktop
  and then select Properties.
• Or right-click Internet Explorer from the Taskbar
  and then right-click the browser again and choose
  Properties.

• In the opened window, highlight the malicious

  shortcut target.

  like www.google.com into the Homepage box and
  then click Apply ? OK button. Or you can select
  Use new tab as your homepage.
• Alter your default search engine from IE.

• Click the gear icon at the upper right corner
  of the browser and then select Manage Add-ons.
• In the opened window, click Search Providers.
  Choose Google as your default search provider.
  Then look for EXCELLENTSEARCH.ORG and click
  Remove button.
