About Us
Company Profile Mr.Kashmiri Lal Khanna
established the Company in 1975, with the aim to
manufacture export Textile Fabrics. Prior to
that all operations were in the export of Tea to
Afghanistan Morrocco under the name of Kashmiri
Lal Kasturi Lal Co., which had been in business
since the 1940s. When the present Company was
incorporated, the two businesses were
amalgamated. The Company is entirely family
owned. In 2006, the company was certified as an
ISO 90012000 company

entirely to our clients requirements.Its
products like Pure Pashmina Shawls, Stoles and
Scarves have been well accepted in the
International Market. The company works on
buyer's requirements/specifications for colours,

Flame Proofed Fabrics
Flameproof / Fire Resistant or Fire-Retardant
fabrics are those fabrics that have been
specially treated to pass certain FR Standards.
These fabrics are treated in a composite solution
admixed with different fire retardant chemicals
to make them resistant to fire flames.
Flame Proofed fabrics are suitable for
residential and commercial use, wherever
fireproofing or insulation is desirable. The
process of flameproofing is done keeping in view
the different standards laid by different
authorities. The common standards being BS-5867,
BS-5852, B1-German, M1-French, BS EN 469 and BS
EN 531 (Flameproof industrial clothing).

The application of Flameproof or Fire Resistant
fabrics is very wide and can be used in both
indoor and outdoor surroundings. Flameproof
fabrics are commonly used in Tents, Oil Rigging
Industry, Exhibition Centers, Museums, Corporate
Buildings, Movie Halls, Stages, Night Clubs,
Hotels and in every public area. The wide
application of flameproof fabrics in these places
is classified according to different standards.

Handloom Tweeds
Tweed is worsted yarn fabric woven on a handloom
thus also called 'Handloom Tweed'. It is a
traditionally woven and a heavy woollen outerwear
fabric. Though it has now been replaced by modern
fabrics, it is still a beautiful, comfortable and
highly coveted material.   The Handloom Tweed is
made in either plain or twill weave and may have
a check, twill or some pattern. Interesting color
effects are obtained by twisting together
differently colored woolen strands into a two or
three-ply yarn.  
Tweed fabric is thicker and heavier than shawl
and the colors used are fast and bright.
Better-quality worsted yarn is used for weaving
tweed. It is woven on the handloom and comes in
different widths, having an apt length. In order
to prevent it from further shrinkage it is
heavily milled after weaving. Originally it was
woven in natural wool colours of black, white and
grey but now they are wide variety of colors and
patterns available in Handloom Tweeds.
