Trauma can develop from many different sources.
Sometimes even just watching a horrific
experience and not necessarily participating in
it can create trauma.

Trauma counseling
Centerpeace Project is one organization helping
people virtually who are dealing with trauma. Dr.
Ellie Zarrabian, Founder and Director of the
Project, has taken this initiative to build a
global community of healers and practitioners to
help educate people on trauma and peaceful
solutions to manage conflict.

Trauma counselors teach people the skills needed
to talk about what happened in a safe and
contained manner. They also help people develop
tools to walk through the memories and
experiences in a way that can help them
eventually heal and move beyond the pain.

As we develop in lightning speed with the
blessings of science and technology, when it
comes to trauma education, we now have the tools
to reach out to people who are struggling and
offer education and assistance virtually or
without actually having to be physically present.

Non violent education

It is important to note that healing doesnt
happen overnight. It took a long time to create
the difficulties and it will take a while to
develop the skills necessary to handle matters
effectively.
