  to grow there. Wiping the curtain down after
  every couple of uses will help prevent germs and
  soap scum from building up there and keep the
  curtain smelling fresher too.
• Try to have a separate space for hanging each wet
  towel so that they arent touching each other and
  have plenty of room to get dry. Hanging them
  outside on the washing line until they dry is a
  good idea, but not always practical.

• Mildew can be a big problem in many of our homes,
  and not just in our bathrooms, but you can help
  to prevent it grow by wiping your tiles down
  regularly with a diluted bleach and water
  solution. You may need a soft bristled brush to
  get rid of any mildew that has already formed.

• Allow some air to circulate
• If weather conditions permit, opening a window or
  two after a steamy session in the tub or shower
  is the best and quickest way of dissipating the
  steam, which if left will quickly encourage
  mildew to grow. If youre unable to do this, you
  should at least run the fan during your shower
  (and for 30 minutes after) or purchase a
  dehumidifier.

• Unbunging showerheads
• One of the best tried and tested ways of ridding
  a showerhead of clogged up grime and water
  deposits, is to remove the head and place it in a
  tightly sealed plastic bag full of white vinegar.
  Leave it there overnight, remove it the next day
  and then give it a quick wipe or scrub with a
  brush the next day (a toothbrush would be perfect
  for this).

• White vinegar really is one of the best liquids
  for getting rid of soap scum mix it with water
  and use it on a damp cloth or sponge to wipe off
  stubborn soap stains, but always wear gloves and
  rinse the area thoroughly afterwards.
