Introduction- If you are planning to do an MBA
from Bangalore, youll need to gain admission to
one of the MBA colleges in Bangalore. To get
admission in the MBA colleges in Bangalore,
youll need to appear in an entrance test, to
prove your knowledge and skills for the course.

Before you decide to apply for an entrance test,
take a look at the top MBA entrance exams in
India, to get an idea -   1. CAT (Common
Admission Test) CAT is an annual online test
conducted by the IIM (Indian Institute of
Management) for admission to the different IIMs
across India. Other than IIMs, all top B-schools
accept CAT scores. To apply for CAT, general
candidates require a minimum 50 aggregate in
graduation, from a recognized institute while
SC, ST, OBC, and DA category candidates need an
aggregate of 45 marks. Final year graduation
students can also apply.

2.MAT (Management Aptitude Test) MAT is
conducted 4 times a year (in February, May,
September December), by the All India
Management Association (AIMA). It is conducted in
both online and offline modes. Graduates in any
discipline, from a recognized university, and
final year students, can apply. There are many
MBA colleges in Bangalore that accept MAT scores.

3.XAT (Xaviers Aptitude Test) Xavier School of
Management (XLRI) conducts this paper-based test
once in a year, to select candidates for
admission to their MBA courses. Other than XLRI,
more than 140 management institutes accept XAT
scores.

4.SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) SNAP
is a common test conducted by the Symbiosis
International University (SIU) for admission to
the MBA courses, at institutes under this
university. To apply for SNAP, you should have a
graduate degree with at least 50 marks.

5.IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) The
IIFT entrance test is a paper-based test thats
conducted once in a year. IIFT is one of the most
prestigious MBA colleges in India, and was set up
in 1963 by the Government of India.   Along with
the entrance exam results, MBA colleges consider
academics, group discussion, interview
performance, work experience, etc. while
selecting candidates.
