PAN CARD APPLICATION

• PAN Card is mandatory for a majority of financial
  transactions such as receiving taxable salary or
  professional fees, opening a bank account, sale
  or purchase of assets etc.

  proof of identification.

  like driving license, passport, etc.
• But it is mandatory in some cases. So, it is

New PAN Card Online Application

• Online PAN Card Application helps you to apply
  for PAN through online without visiting the
  Income Tax Department
• PAN applications are required to be furnished in
  the new forms prescribed by Income Tax Department
  w.e.f April 08, 2012.
• Indian citizens have to submit their Application
  for allotment of new PAN
• PAN Card Application Online fee has changed
  to Rs. 107

• Application fee can be paid through demand draft,
  credit/debit card, or net-banking.
• If there are any errors, during submission a
  response indicating the error(s) will be
  displayed.
• You can rectify the error(s) and re-submit the
  PAN Card form.
• The applicant may either confirm or edit the
  same.
• On successful submission, the acknowledgment
  receipt is generated.

• Download and print the receipt, affix recent
  photographs over it and put your signature in the
  space provided on the receipt.
• Forward that to NSDL e - Gov. or UTIITSL (as
  applicable) along with the required documents for
  further processing.
• Then, you can trace the Status of your Online PAN
  application.

Corrections in PAN Data

• Through PAN Application Center
• New PAN Card Application Form along with required
  documents can be submitted at the PAN Application
  center.
• Application for Changes
• If you already have the PAN and wish to make some
  changes/corrections in your PAN data, or to
  obtain the new PAN card, you have to submit the
  application in the REQUEST FOR NEW PAN CARD
  OR/AND CHANGES OR CORRECTION IN PAN DATA form

• The Online application for PAN Card / PAN Card
  application form should be submitted along with 2
  recent passport size color photographs.
• Proof of residential address.
• Proof of Identity
• Proof of Address
• Proof of date of birth

Documents to be submitted by Foreign Citizens

• Proof of Identity Proof of Address
• Copy of passport, (or)
• Copy of PIO (Person of Indian Origin) card issued
  by Govt of India, (or)
• Copy of OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card
  issued by Govt of India, etc.
