Father Luke Melackrinos is the pastor at the
Greek Orthodox Church at St. Pauls. He was
ordained to Holy Priesthood in 2003 by the
Metropolitan Gerasimos. He is a very kind and
generous person who weekly volunteers at the Mary
Brennan INN, a local soup kitchen. He also
established the weekly Food Run in Hempstead, New
York.

Fr Luke Melackrinos has written more than 30
publications named The Epistle. These are
dictated and reviewed by him before being
delivered by a trusted messenger. Fr Luke was
previously ordained to the Diaconate on March 31,
2002 by Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco
at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George in
Bethesda, Maryland.

Father Luke Melackrinos is married to Marusia
(Podhurec), the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox
priest. Marusia has a Masters Degree in Guidance
and Counseling and is full time mother to Eleni,
Magdalena, and Mia. Luke Melackrinos with his
entire family rejoices the community of St. Paul
and feeds the needy in New York every week.
