SEVEN QUESTIONS
Seven Questions Regarding GO UV-m Ink for the
UV Printers
Q. Where is UV-m manufactured and what is the
list price? A. GOs UV-m ink is made in the U.S.
and has a list price of 200/liter. UV-m ink is
one of the highest quality UV inks in the market
with the lowest price per liter of all UV ink
providers.
Q. Does GOs UV-m Ink contain HAPs or VOCs? A.
No. UV-m does not use solvent for viscosity
reduction so we do not have any HAPs or VOCs in
the ink.
Q. What colors are available for the GO UV-m
ink? A. The GO UV-m ink comes in C, M, Y, K,
White and Clear.
Q. Does UV-m Ink meet U.S. Consumer Product
Safety Commission requirements for childrens
products? A. Yes. GOs UV-m Ink meets the
requirements of the Consumer Product Safety
Improvement Act (CPSIA) for lead and phthalates
for childrens products. This is an important
standard and In our market segment we are not
aware of any other company meeting this standard.
Q. What is the expectation for outdoor UV
stability for UV-m? A. We can generally say the
outdoor UV stability of UV-m Ink will last for
two years without seeing any degradation. This is
of course dependent upon the environmental
conditions and the type of sub- strate being
imaged.
Q. How well does GO UV-m ink adhere to uncoated
substrates? A. With few exceptions the adherence
to uncoated substrates is very strong.
Additionally with two UV lamp arrays, UV-m cures
much faster and offers much better adhesion. Our
suggestion, prior to pur- chasing a printer, is
to forward any substrates to GO for testing.
Q. Does GO offer a primer? A. Yes. GO offers a
variety of primers. We offer primers for harder
to image non-porous substrates such as glass,
plastic, polypropylene, but generally no primer
is needed.
