Tigers Trail Resort is located near the entrance
of the Tadoba Reserve Forest (Kolara Gate). The
resort is in the serene setting in the jungle and
its periphery.Our resort is approximately 100 km
from Nagpur city. The resort is built with luxury
and grandeur with air conditioning its in all

Tadoba is from the name of the God Tadoba who was
also called Taru, he was praised by the tribal
people who lived in the dense forests of the

About Tadoba
The name Tadoba is from the name of the God
Tadoba who was also called Taru, he was
worshipped by the tribal people who lived in the
dense forests of the Tadoba. Legend holds that
Taru was a village chief who was killed in a
mythological encounter with a tiger. A shrine
dedicated to the God Taru now exists beneath a
huge tree, on the banks of the Tadoba Lake. The
temple is frequented by Adivasis, especially
during the fair held every year in the Hindu
month of Pausha, between December and January.
The Gond kings once ruled these forests in the
vicinity of the Chimur hills. Hunting was
completely banned in 1935.

Activities
Jungle Safari
Visit inside the park is on 4X4 Gypsy (Suzuki
Jeeps). Morning safari is from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
and the evening safari is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.,
the timings may change slightly with the season.
Prior booking is required so please do let us
know in advance.
