Title: Hearing Loss and Solution

1
What is hearing loss?
  • Hearing is the important part of our life and we
know that hearing is only the feeling. It does
not exist physically. But there are some people
that cant hear or hear mild. Problem in hearing
the sound is called the Hearing loss.

How Hearing Work?
  • 1.Outer ear - Outer ear receives the waves from
the outside environment and then transfers them
into the middle ear through the ear canal.
  • 2.Middle ear - Middle ear receives these waves
and these waves hit the eardrum in the middle
ear. Eardrum starts to vibrate and generates the
three tiny bones in your ear.
  • These bones are called hammer, anvil, stirrup .
  • 3.Inner ear - In the Inner ear the sound is
generated with the help of these tiny bones.

Types Of Hearing Loss
  • Conductive Hearing Loss-
  • Conductive hearing loss occur due to the problem
or disorder in the outer ear or the middle of the
ear. Sound is prevented from the inner ear, but
they speak distorted or faint. Sound is prevented
from the inner ear, but they speak distorted or
faint. There are some reasons behind the
conductive hearing loss which include infection,
fluid and wax bulid up in the middle ear, foreign
objects in the ear canal or a preforated eardrum.
  • Sensorineural Hearing Loss-
  • Sensorineural hearing loss occurs when the nerves
of the ear get damaged and unable to transfer the
signals to the brain. In this type of Hearing
loss sound is not clear to the patient, because
the nerves of the inner ear and sensory cells got
    damaged over the time.

What is Hearing Aid
  • Basic digital hearing aids generally require the
wearer to make some manual adjustments in certain
listening environments such as turning a volume
control up or down, or pushing a button to change
listening programs. In contrast, a premium or
more advanced hearing aid responds automatically
to changes in the listeners environment, making
changes based on the signals being detected by
    the hearing aid.

Types Of Digital Hearing Aid
  • Invisible hearing aids Virtually unseen and
bespoke, these fit discreetly inside the ear
    canal.

that sit discreetly behind the ear.
  • In-ear hearing aids Small and customisable to
    help your hearing needs.
  • CROS hearing aids Designed to help with hearing
loss in one ear and normal hearing in the other.

Hearing Test
  • Hearing well is something we can take for
granted. For most, any loss is gradual and we
know that sometimes taking the first step to
understand if theres been a change in how well
youre hearing can feel daunting. So, to help
make those first steps as easy as possible, weve
put together a quick 3 minute online check.
  • The simple, step-by-step check will first ask you
how well youre hearing at low, mid and high
level frequencies, this will help us to
understand your hearing threshold for each tone.

Hearing Aid Care
  • Here are some care and safety guidelines to make
sure your hearing aids work their best for many
    years to come.
  • Turn off your hearing aid before you go to bed.
This will avoid unnecessary battery drain when
youre not wearing your hearing aids.
  • Do not try to lubricate hearing aid parts.
  • Keep your hearing aids out of the reach of
    children and pets.
  • Never immerse your hearing aids in water, or wear
them while in a sauna, showering, bathing, or
swimming. Protect your hearing aids from rain, as
    well.
