• COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
• A branch office must have a registered address in
  Singapore
• The office must have at least one authorised
  representative, who is also a Singapore resident.
• The branch name should be the same as the company
  name.

• ABOUT TAXATION
• A branch office is not entitled to the benefits
  of the Double Taxation Agreement.
• Tax exemptions on foreign branch benefits,
  foreign sourced service income or foreign sourced
  dividends are not applicable for branch office
  setups.
• Branch office is eligible for partial tax
  benefits.

• ANNUAL FILING REQUIREMENTS
• Foreign companies must submit
• annual reports
• a duly audited financial statement of the branch
  office within 7 months from its financial year
  end or within 2 months of the companys annual
  general meeting, whichever is earlier.

• Certificate of Incorporation given by the foreign
  country.
• Particulars of the Directors.
• Articles of Association
• Memorandum of Appointment
• Preparation of Statutory declaration by verifying
  the execution of the Memorandum of Appointment of
  Agents.
