Procedure to use scanpst to repair your pst files

• Step 1
• Run SCANPST tool, and locate the PST file that
  you want to repair by clicking on BROWSE button.

Procedure to use scanpst to repair your pst files

• Step 2
• Start the scanning process by clicking on the
  START button. The scanning would start and
  would continue in 8 phases.

Step 3 After completion of scanning process, it
will provide you with ERROR details. You may
click on DETAILS button for more information,
or else start with the repair process by
clicking on REPAIR

If the corruption is beyond repair, then DATA
RECOVERY IS THE ONLY OPTION.
Procedure to use scanpst to repair your pst files

• Step 4
• The repair procedure would be carried out in 8
  phases. It may take time depending upon the size
  of PST file and the extent of corruption.

Step 5(a) If the repair procedure completes
successfully, then it means that your PST file is
repaired and ready to use Step 5(b) If the
repair process takes way to long to complete, or
fails, it means that the PST file is corrupted
beyond Repair.

• The tree structure of the scanned PST file is
  displayed in the left pane. Click on each mailbox
  folder to see recovered mailbox items and preview
  them. Then select the folders you want to save by
  clicking on SAVE button.

Step 6 The Select Output Type window pops-up.
select the file type to save recovered data into
it and then click on Browse button to select a
location for new file. After selection of desire
file, proceed by clicking on OK button.

• Upon clicking OK button, the saving procedure
  would start and upon completion, it would display
  a confirmation message.
• Now you can use that PST file by replacing it
