  • Pitched finishing are much rougher than the
    others it helps headstones to fit into older
    atmosphere.
  • Part polished headstones are only shiny on the
    face and the top of the base. Other surfaces are
    honed or pitched finishing.

  • Headstone design includes lettering, images and
    colors.
  • Special fonts can add character to a headstone.

    prevention technique for Headstones.

Gravestone Maintenance and Cleaning
  • Limestone and Sandstone - Mix a cup of non-ionic
    soap with distilled water and use a natural
    bristled brush to wipe the surface. Avoid
    household acidic cleaners, metal wire brushes,
    pressure washers.
  • Marble - Mix a cup of Ammonium Hydroxideor with
    distilled water and use a natural bristled brush
    to wipe it over the surface.
  • When cleaning the granite, Use the same non-ionic
    soap with distilled water and use a non-metallic
    scouring pad to scrub the surface.
  • To Clean the bronze gravestones it requires
    waxing in order to bring out the shine. Apply
    small amount of water mix with non-ionic soap and
    use a natural bristled brush to wipe it over the
    surface. After completing this allow headstones
    to dry and start applying the waxing process.
