• Recently, I have received complaints from the
  Time Warner Cable users regarding the problem in
  accessing the email account from the network
  other than Time Warner Cable Network. So, Today I
  am going to Intervene in this matter.
• Some of the users have reported that they are
  able to use the RR com login services with the
  Time Warner network but as soon as they try to
  use the same outside the network, then they get
  E-mail errors on their device screens. They have
  even found the solution for the same on the
  internet as well but didnt get success. They
  want to use their email service on Outlook
  Express, Thunderbird, Outlook and Apple Mail
  outside the RR connection but they are getting
  the problem in accessing it.

• Now, we are going to discuss the solution for the
  same in the coming passages. First of all, I
  would like to suggest Timewarner Email that there
  is a need to change the policy of blocking the
  users, who are not using the mail services over
  their own network. They must have to provide
  additional settings to those users outside the
  network so that they can send and receive
  messages on a temporary basis on their RR mail.

The problem here doesnt actually lies in
incoming e-mail but this is in the SMTP outgoing
mail service. Now, the permanent solution to this
problem is discussed here as under

1. The outgoing server settings of your RR mail
   outside the network should be in such format
   SMTP-server. ltYour locationgt.rr.com. You need to
   write your present location in the your
   location space like New York, Pennsylvania.
2. Now, check the incoming mail settings of your www
   RR com servers. The current location should match
   with the settings. If you are having any problem,
   then you can call at RR Email office number.
3. Password authentication is required for an SMTP
   server, not SSL type.

• 4. In the username field, you need to enter the
  complete email address of your TWC email account.
  However, the incoming settings only require the
  first part of your address but not _at_ symbol.
• 5. The password should match with the email
  account TWC Email password.
• 6. The port number for SMTP server should be
  changed to 587. This is default port number for
  your E-mail program.
• 7. These settings will definitely fix the SMTP
  issues of your account.
• Restart the email application after saving all
  the settings.

• Note The settings mentioned above may stop the
  outgoing mail service of your Time Warner Cable
  Email login when connected to the Road Runner
  network. It sounds quite amazing but this is a
  fact and their policy too.
• Some of the account users have missed these
  settings and they have simply forwarded their RR
  mails onto the Gmail account. They also
  configured reply-to settings in their account
  over the mail app. This is another type of
  solution or strategy I can say.

• At last, I will suggest all the Road Runner users
  that you either configure the above-mentioned
  settings for your account or simply switch to
  another email service provider if you are not
  using www RR com login mail for business because
  these settings are not a permanent solution for
  your problem. So, it would be better if you use
  the mail with your own domain name. Just stop
  taking the services from Road Runner account or
  it will automatically get canceled in near
  future.
• I want to mention one more thing here that Email
  services that are tied up with the network
  providers like TWC are not very reliable and
  compact.
