Here we are writing an article to inform our
reader about functionality of transformer
oil. Transformer oil is maily based on insulating
mineral oil. It is of two types paraffin based
oil and nephtha based transformer oil. It
function are 1. It has high electrical
insulating properties. 2. It has coolant
propertis. 3. It is liquid insulation in
electrical power transformer. 4. It dumps heat
generated by transformer. 5. It protects
transformer core and winding immersed in oil. 6.
It avoids direct contact of atmospheric oxygen
with cellulose made paper insulation of
winding.

Automotive oil and its usage in day to day
activities are of utmost important. Automotive
oil is the heart of all vehicles whether it is
public transport and public owned vehicles. It is
widely used by light/ medium/ heavy vehicle as
well its protects engine. It is major

Coolant
Coolant acts as a mixture of water and antifreeze
that is stored in the transformer and provide
help to dump heat generated by engine. To enhance
it service it should contain equal amount of
water mixed with antifreeze. Without coolant, the
transformer engine would overheat leading to
mechanical breakdown.

products includes tanks, fighter jets, etc. Its
