ABOUT PETER ENESTROM

• I am an Australian-born, NYC-living entrepreneur
  that cares deeply about creating authentic
  education experiences that utilize technology to
  improve student lives.
• I have have founded and invested in a number of
  education- and technology-oriented companies,
  first as a venture capitalist at a 300M fund,
  University Ventures. Inc. Magazine recently named
  one such company, Qubed, as one of "10 Tech
  Companies Shaking Up Their Industry".
• My other companies have been featured in
  publications such as the Washington Post and my
  past business partners include the founding
  design team of Etsy and Scott L. Kauffman, now
  CEO and Chairman of the 6th largest advertising
  conglomerate, MDC partners.

  that partners with leading global media brands to
  launch education programs with prominent
  universities, such as a Master's program in

  Shaking Up Their Industry".

Investor - University Ventures Fund (Bertelsmann)

• University Ventures is the leading
  higher-education focused investment fund with
  over 300M in capital largely fund by German
  media conglomerate, Bertelsmann. Board
  Observer for University Now building the most
  affordable, accessible high quality online
  learning platform with over 40M in funding, and
  a board that includes Mitch Kapor and Roger
  Novak.
• Board Observer for UV Labs creating a
  technology platform that links industry
  education institutions, led many business
  development initiatives, run by the former CTO of
  Apollo Group (the largest publicly traded
  education entity)
• Heavily involved with the development of
  Ameritas, a joint-venture targeted at working
  Hispanic adults for whom cost and language
  proficiency are major barriers to a college
  degree.
• Drove various co-investment deals in the
  higher education sector with prospective
  partners, such as Warburg Pincus.
