INTRODUCTION
Lord Krishna is the 8th incarnation of Lord
Vishnu. He is known by 108 names. During the
battle of Mahabharata, he gave Arjuna the
immortal spiritual discourse of the Bhagavad Gita
and reminded him about his duties and gave
lessons to all mankind.

Lord Krishna has 108 names. Some of his most
popular names are Shyam, Mukunda, Govind,
Devkinandan, Hari, Banke Bihari, Vasudeva, etc.
These names are mostly based upon his deeds, his
virtue and his lifestyle.

Queen Gandhari Cursed Lord Krishna
After the battle of kurukshetra, Krishna
approached Gandhari to show his condolences, she
revengefully cursed him that he and his Yadu
dynasty will perish in 36 years from today. After
the war was over, he himself contemplating the
end of Yadav race. So, when Gandhari cursed him,
he thanks her for solving his problem.

Lord Krishnas 16,108 wives
Lord Krishna had total 16,108 wives and 8 of them
were considered as his principal wives also
referred as Ashtabharya. The names of his 8
wives were Rukmani, Jambavati, Mitravinda,
Satyabhama, Nagnajiti, Bhadra, Kalindi and
Lakshmana. Lord Krishna freed other 16,100 women
from Narakasura and married them to protect their
honour.

Skin Colour of Lord Krishna
Lord Krishnas pictures and idols are painted in
blue, but his skin colour was dark. According to
spiritualists his attractive aura had blue
shades, therefore he is portrayed as blue in
colour. Also the blue colour is the symbol of
internal strength, calmness and serenity.

Lord Krishna gave life to Guru Sandipani Munis

When Lord Krishna asked Guru Sandipani about Guru
Dakshina. He replied him by asking to bring back
his dead son. Krishna and Balaram took a trip to
the place where Gurus son had been caught by
devil. They took his body to the god of death and
asked for restoring him back to life. This is how
they brought him back to life.
