CAT 2017 Introduction
Common Admission Test (CAT) is being conducted by
IIM Lucknow this year. It is a computer based
test of 3 hours duration. 100 multiple choice
questions are asked from three sections viz.
Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and
Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability and Reading
Comprehension. Lets have a look on the CAT 2017
exam pattern in the presentation.

MCQs and Non-MCQs Ratio
Based on last years pattern, here is the ratio
of MCQs and Non-MCQs

• There is no negative marking for Non-MCQs
  question.
• A non-scientific on screen calculator is
  provided for calculations.
• IIMs provides online CAT mock test prior to the
  main exam for helping candidates to get familiar
  with the exam pattern. This years mock test is
  expected in the third week of October.
