• Introduction
• Checkout Suggested Product Slider is an Odoo App
  that adds a slider of suggested accessory
  products on the checkout page. This will help
  Odoo store owners to cross sell/up sell related
  products by showing a slider of
  complimentary/accessory products. As the
  store admin you can manage and decide
  which accessory products you want to show in the
  slider for each product from the Odoo backend
  through product configuration.
• Benefits of Checkout Suggested Product Slider
• Show accessory/suggested products to customers on
  checkout page
• Show suggested accessory products in a slider
  format, instead of the default vertical format.
• Complete control over what products to include in
  the slider.
• Select which accessory products to be added in
  the slider from Odoo product configuration in the
  backend.
• Prerequisites
• Following points must be followed before starting
  the plug in installation
• You should login as an Admin in Odoo.
• Check that your Odoo Instance is compatible
  for Checkout Suggested Product Slider. An
  e- commerce module should be present in your
  instance to use this app.

• Download Unzip Checkout Suggested Product
  Slider App Folder
• Move Checkout Suggested Product Slider folder to
  your Odoo 10 setup path Ex. /home/detai/odoo_demo/
  odoo/addons
• Open your Odoo 10 copy in any browser.
• Database selection
• For New database
• Click on manage databases
• Click on ?Create? database ( new database )
• Enter database name, email password for new
  database.

• Go to Apps/Update Module List.
• Click on ?Update? button.

• Go to Apps/Apps Modules
• Remove search filter

• Enter module name in the search box provided in
  the top right corner of the page. For e.g. here
• write ?Checkout Suggested Product Slider?.
• Click on ?IYstall? button.

• You are ready to go with Checkout Suggested
  Product Slider.

• App Configuration
• Set Accessory Product
• Go to Sales -gt Products. By clicking on
  ?Products? link you will be redirected to the
  Products page.

• From the Products page you can select the
  product for which you want to set the
  accessory product.

• Thereafter you can set the accessory products for
  the selected product as per the Odoo Products
  default Configuration.

• Enable / Disable Checkout Suggested Product
  Slider
• To Enable / Disable the Checkout Suggested
  Product Slider for the store admin should
  navigate to
• Website -gt Checkout Page.
• Thereafter click on ?Custowize? button and enable
  the ?Suggested Product Slider? from Alternative
  Products in my Cart section.

• View Accessory Product Slider in Checkout Page
• Once you have configured the accessory products
  for the desired product from the Odoo backend,
  Accessory product slider containing the accessory
  products will be displayed at the checkout page
  for the particular product.
