About This Presentation
Title:

Cut Gasket (1)

Description:

Cut Gaskets ( ) can be cut from any of our sheet gasketing materials. Using one of the following techniques: Hand cut, Die Cut, Laser cut, waterjet cut or a knife edge CNC (flash cut). Cut gaskets go into products you see and use every day including your car and your phones. We off materials that can be cut for the simple applications such as sealing air, to the more difficult designed and manufactured for extreme heat, oil and chemical resistance. – PowerPoint PPT presentation

WELCOMETOAMERICAN SEAL AND PACKING
2
O-Rings
  • O-ring are used in applications from the simple
to the exotic chemical and high temperature
applications. You can order o-rings from our
    ecommerce website http//www.sealsales.com. We
sell high quality parts in a wide range of
materials. An O-Rings works as seal to contain a
liquid or gas while sealed. It includes material
Nitrile, Buna-N, Viton (Black), Viton (Brown),
Aflas, PTFE, PTFE encapsulated Viton or
    Silicone, EPDM, Neoprene, Silicone, E.P.R.,
Kalrez. We also offer 4 Lobe Q-Rings which
allows the O-ring to seal at a slightly lower
    load.

3
Shaft Seals
  • There are many types of shaft seals. We offer
most of them including metric. If you need Shaft
seals, which includes lip seals, and face seals,
we have a full range that is ready to ship from
the stocking locations of American Seal
Packing. We offer them directly on our ecommerce
    website site https//www.sealsales.com. Many of
our information sites are listed at
http//seal.business. Whether you need it for
replace old seals or for new seal, we will
provide you at affordable prices. We are offering
Single spring seal and pump seals which are
various types according to your needs.

4
Spiral Wound Gasket
  • Spiral wound gaskets are available in many
different designs. Supportive inner and / or
outer rings help to contain pressure or vacuum. A
V-shape Metal Strip and a Strip of Non-Metallic
    Filler Material including flexible graphite,
PTFE, Non-asbestos, Thermica or Mica. Selecting
the correct metallurgies and sealing filler are
the key to successfully sealing your industrial
applications.. Check this product online on our
    website.

Cut Gasket
  • Gaskets can be cut from any of our sheet
gasketing materials. Using one of the following
techniques Hand cut, Die Cut, Laser cut,
waterjet cut or a knife edge CNC (flash cut). Cut
gaskets go into products you see and use every
day including your car and your phones. We off
materials that can be cut for the simple
applications such as sealing air, to the more
difficult designed and manufactured for extreme
heat, oil and chemical resistance. Using PTFE and
Flexible graphite can solve applications like
    aliphalactic aromatic and halogenated
    hydrocarbons, concentrated acids, alkalis, animal
and vegetable oils.  For more information please

Gaskets and Seals
  • The most difficult gasket and seal applications
are generally high temperature, high pressure or
both. High temperature is a relative term. In
rubber materials you are usually referring to
anything higher than 250 F where common
elastomers will melt. Viton, FKM, Kalrez,
Chemrez, and Ameri-rez are the common solutions
for those applications. If we are discussing
non-rubber material such as plastics mica,
thermica or graphite, the solutions are PTFE,
EPTFE (to 600 F). In the case of graphite if
oxygen is not present it can handle up to 5,400
    F. Mica is a great solution when oxygen is
    present and over 1000 F.

7
Seals
  • Seals that are capable of handling higher
temperatures must be selected carefully. Other
factors that affect high temperature capabilities
include the media being sealed, and the pressure
you are sealing at. We offer the finest in
materials and material manufacturers in the
world. High temperature seals are used in many
types of machineries and in pipe flanges. These
can be used to resist liquid and gas.

Sheet Gasket Materials
  • Sheet gasket materials range from inexpensive
sheet rubber such as gum rubber, Nitrile, EPDM,
Neoprene, to the mid cost FKM, Silicone and
Viton. Non-asbestos materials are also available
from the inexpensive nitrile based sheets with
fiberglass or aramid fiber to custom elastomers
with carbon and graphite. PTFE materials start a
mid prices virgin PTFE to bidirectional filled
PTFE such as our new hybrid material, Ameri-lon
is produced for us by FMI-SPA of Italy. Many
competing materials are skived causing a week
tensile strength direction in a sheet gasket
material. Flexible graphite materials can be
cheap imports that are high in sulfur and can
cause pitting to your flanges or they can be high
grade materials specially made for purity and
    nuclear suitability.

9
Graphite Packing
  • Graphite packing is used in high speed and high
    temperature applications. Flexible graphite
materials are unique in the fact they can be
shaped and formed repeatedly from tiny broken
pieces. In these days, it is used in many
applications with different varieties. It can be
formed into various shapes. It has lowest Leak
    rates.
