NO OFFENCE
The DVLA does not like a personalised
registration to look offensive. They will not
permit any registration that may be considered
rude or offensive to be released (although with
some creative combinations of letters and numbers
its still possible!)

The J1 HAD registration was banned as soon as the
J registrations were released in 1991 because it
looked like jihad, which for some carries

T8, owned by music hall artist Harry
Tate. Currently its owned by Johnny Tate of the
