The existance of State Bank of India was in the
year 1955 on 1st July. The headquarter of the
bank is located at Mumbai, Maharashtra. The State
bank is India is a government owned bank which is
established to help the individuals to save their

of the oldest commercialized bank. The history
of the bank has started in the 19th century in
the year 1806 when the Bank of Bengal was started
up. Later 2 more bank which are Bank of Bombay
and Bank of Madras were joined and became
Imperial Bank of India. Later in the year 1955,
Imperial Bank of India was renamed and was named
as State Bank of India.

There are total of 14000 branches of State Bank
of India which also include foreign branches and
it is spread over to 36 countries which makes it
the largest and biggest financial services. The
State Bank of India supplies very products which
