13 How to Start Preparation
- First of all, you have to make a study plan for
your preparations. Firstly, get information about
the complete JEE Main Syllabus and divide them
equally as per your time so that every minor
topic should get covered in your study plans. - Refer fewer books for theory, It is advised to
avoid the study material which is having
repeated questions based on the same concept. - Create a timetable for studies.
14How to Start Preparation
- Take mock tests to get first real look and feel
of the examination. JEE Mains mock tests provide
good practice and are a barometer to judge your
abilities. - To memorize the Name equations important
formulas, make a flash card or cheat sheet. There
is no shortcut to learning chemical equations
formulas. So, it is better to practice these
again again. - The golden rule of solving mathematics problem
says that never start with a difficult problem.
If you cant solve few initial problems, it will
make you anxious hence it will affect your
overall performance in JEE Mains paper.
15 How to Start Preparation
- To develop a better understanding of the whole
section, go through the previous year papers.
Solve at least last 10 years JEE Question papers,
if not more. - Last 48 hours before JEE Main must be kept as
light as possible. - Devote new topics at the last time of preparation
and do revisions.

- If you are prepare for Paper 2 also then focus
on Part 1 (Mathematics) Part 2(Aptitude test)
to score higher. - Creativity drawing skills are important for
clearing drawing test. - Improve your drawing skill by practicing only on
A4 size sketch books. - Speed and accuracy play an important role so
improve your draw speed.
