QuickBooks accounting categorize payment in two
forms Deposited Payment and Undeposited funds.
Deposited funds are the payment that you record
and deposited in the bank and Undeposited funds
is a holding amount for several
transactions. Sometime user mistakenly add
Undeposited funds into Deposited Payment, then
go to the edit menu delete the payments.
3PROCESS TO DELETE PAYMENTS IN QUICKBOOKS
- Go to QuickBooks Home page and click on the icons
of Record Deposits to display the make
Deposits view. - If Payment to windows appears then cancel it.
- Choose deposit that you want to remove. If you
are unable to see it, precede Previous until
you locate the correct entry. - Select the "Edit" menu, then "Delete Deposit.
Then warning window is displayed to confirm.
Press Ok to delete payment.
