UK Immigration Investor Program
  • The UK Immigrant Investor Program was created by
    the UK Government in 1994 to attract high net
    worth individuals and their families to immigrate
    to UK by making a substantial investment in the
    UK.
  • The Tier 1 Investor program is designed to allow
    investors to enter the UK on an initial 2 year
    visa.
  • If applicants have met the criteria, they can
    extend their stay by another 3 years, giving
    themselves a total of 5 years of legal residency.
  • Investors are then eligible to apply for
    Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), which is the
    equivalent to Permanent Residence and later on to
    apply for British Citizenship.

Qualification Requirements Investor route
  • Have access to at least 2,000,000 in savings
    for investment into UK
  • You are from outside the European Economic Area
    (EEA) and Switzerland
  • You will be 18 or over to apply for this visa
  • You are able to prove that the money belongs to
    either you or your husband, wife, unmarried or
    same-sex partner
  • You should be able to verify the source of
    funds
  • Upon approval of application, invest 2,000,000
    in UK government bonds, share capital or loan
    capital in active and trading UK registered
    companies.

UK Entrepreneur Program
  • The UK Entrepreneur Program was launched by the
    UK Government on 30th June 2008 to pull in
    Entrepreneurs and their families to immigrate by
    making a substantial investment in new business
    or by purchasing a current British business in
    the UK with a base speculation of UK 200,000
  • The purpose of the program is to attract
    individuals with excellent Entrepreneur skills
    who are able to contribute to UK economy by
    investment and creation of jobs
  • The Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) program is open for
    all nationalities except for citizens of
    Europeans Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
  • The Entrepreneur needs to invest in the UK by
    setting up or assuming control and being
    effectively part of the running of the day to day
    operations of the business.

Requirements
  • Investment of at least 200,000 in a new UK
    business or buy in existing business
  • The business must be capable of creating at
    least 2 full time employment for British citizen,
    residents or EEA nationals
  • You must have sufficient funds to support
    yourself and any dependants until the business
    becomes profitable
  • You must have a controlling interest in the
    business and must be responsible for share of its
    liabilities
  • You must be able to present a complete and
    viable business plan and acceptable level of
    English language communication skills (IELTS Test
    report needs to be submitted)
  • The money being invested in the business must be
    your own and must not come from any external
    source, for example a loan. However, third party
    funding is acceptable

UK Sponsorship Program(Spouse civil partners)
  • British immigration laws allow lawful permanent
    resident and citizens to sponsor their spouse
    from third country nationals who then benefit
    from living and working in the United Kingdom
  • Your spouse / civil partner in the UK should
    support you and demonstrate he/she has enough
    income sources to help you stay in the UK. The
    current minimum income threshold is GBP 18,600
  • The applicant needs to demonstrate that he/she
    has good level of English language communication
    skills and are required to pass the IELTS test
    requirements

  • Upon approval of application, the initial
    validity of spouse visa (dependent) is granted

UK VISITOR VISA PROGRAM
  • UK Tourist Visa Business Visitor Visa allows
    individuals to visit UK either to sightseeing,
    Business or visiting family or friends. Visas
    generally are granted for up to 6 months in most
    cases.
  • Visitors are not permitted to work on this visa
    and are expected to leave UK before the visa
    expires. Applicants can visit UK along with their
    dependents and children.
  • Applications are made through the visa
    application centre or at the Embassy based on
    their nationality or place of residence. Personal
    interviews are rarely called for

UK SOLE REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM
  • The sole representative visa is designed to help
    an overseas company establish/expand its business
    in the UK
  • An overseas company is not allowed to send more
    than one person to act as a sole representative
    in the UK
  • The applicant who would represent the parent
    company in UK must have been employed by the
    parent company for at least a minimum duration of
    1 year
  • The applicant should not be a major shareholder
    in the parent company, but however needs to
    demonstrate senior management position
  • If the individual has been in the UK for no less
    than two years and the organization's
    circumstances change
  • Shall continue to remain in senior position in
    the company and draw a monthly salary paid by the
    parent company.

Requirements
  • Applicant must be from outside of EEA
  • The applicant must be a senior employee who has
    been employed by the parent company (Non UK
    company) for at least 1 year
  • Have enough money to support himself without
    help from public funds
  • Hold a senior position inside the parent company
    and to demonstrate broad related industry
    experience and learning
  • Meet the English language requirements (IELTS)
  • The senior employee should be receiving a full
    time salary sufficient to maintain themselves
    without recourse to public funds

BRITISH citizenship Requirements
  • The standard requirements for British Citizenship
    through naturalization could be met by meetign
    the following requirements
  • You must be above the age of 18
  • You should intend to continue living in the UK,
    or to continue in Crown service, the service of
    an international organisation of which the UK is
    a member, or the service of a company or
    association established in the UK
  • You must be able to communicate in English
    language to an acceptable degree
  • You must have sufficient knowledge of life in
    the UK and write the required test
  • You must meet the residential requirements
  • lived in the UK for at least the 5 years before
    the date of your application
  • spent no more than 450 days outside the UK during
    those 5 years
  • spent no more than 90 days outside the UK in the
    last 12 months
  • had settlement (ILR) in the UK for the past 12
    months if you are from outside of EEA.
