Devaki Krishna Temple
This ancient temple situated in Marcel that dates
back to the Portuguese reign is dedicated to Lord
Krishna and his mother Devaki. Built in 1842,
this is the only temple that represents Krishna
with Devaki. Though the structure is simple, it
has an elegant design with idols carved out of
black stone. Various idols and forms of mother

Bhagwati Devi Temple
Believed to be over 500 years old, this temple
situated in Pernem is dedicated to Goddess
Bhagvati (an incarnation of Goddess Parvati).

Mahadev Temple
One of the oldest Hindu temples to survive Muslim
and Portuguese evasions, the Mahadev temple is

Mahalakshmi Temple
Dating back to the mid-15th century, Mahalakshmi
