CAMEROON POULET DG (CHICKEN EXECUTIVE OFFICER)
Its name says it all! The CEO ! The Chicken
Executive Officer or Poulet DG (Poulet Directeur
Général) in French. One of the most emblematic
dishes of Cameroon! Why CEO?
Simply because it was a dish served to
distinguished guests, to the richest people
whether it be for business meals or political
meals. Indeed, at the time, only the elite would
have had the means to pay for this dish.

NIGERIA CHIN CHIN
Nigeria will be my fourth and final stop of our
African journey. We just spent almost a month
discovering and introducing you to African
cuisine and I must admit I have been very
pleasantly surprised. I really feel bad we hadnt
featured Africa in a while. If I tell
you chin chin, this could be refer to how the
word we use to toast in France, our cheers. I
could also tell you chin chin in Chinese In
China, chin chin means please and people also
use this word to toast.

There are authentic and traditional dishes that
can create wars. Jollof rice is one of those
dishes! Jollof rice is one of the most
common Western African dishes. It is prepared
throughout the region including in Ghana,
Nigeria, Senegal, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia,
Ivory Coast, Togo, Cameroon as well as Mali.
