All About Jaisalmer Jaisalmer is located close to
Pakistan border. It is a major spot for tourism
in the Northwestern territory in the state of
Rajasthan. If you want to know more about

Lake Gadisar lake was built in the late 14th
century. It used to serve as the sole source of
water for the whole town of Bikaner. The lake is

temples and shrines accompanying the beauty of

background. People visit the lake usually in the

Jain Temples It is a group of temples within the
walls of Jaisalmer Fort. The temples possess

Jain hermits Tirthankaras. There is also a
library on the campus named as Gyan Bhandar

Rajasthan. It is famous for its haunted ambiance
and possesses a great attraction from a tourists
point of view. The village was not haunted as
always. Two hundred years back it was the home to
thousands of people living under the rule of
Diwan Salim Singh. He was one cruel ruler that
people had to run out of the fear of the rage.
The residents ran one night leaving their homes
empty. That was the last time when anybody lived
there. Now there are absolutely no traces of
human existence there. The place has now turned
into a haunted tourist site. Tourists come, take
pictures but do not stay here for a long time as
there is no population here.
