ABOUT FOLDER SECURITY VIEWER
  • Folder Security Viewer is an NTFS Permissions
Reporter that helps you to analyze your Windows
Folders or Shares and report all NTFS permissions
owner. This gives you visibility into
the effective permissions and access rights for
    your data.
  • Easily see what effective NTFS permissions a
specific user has and why - rights assignment
made for a group or direct assignment.
  • Verifying user permissions for specific folders
can be done in a short time. There is no need to
hassle with any nested Active Directory security
groups or time-consuming manual research for all
the Active Directory groups to find the rights
    assignment of a specific folder.
  • Beside the Permissions Report we also offer
a Folder Report to list folders in a flat view
with file count, size and owner.
  • Also we offer a Owner Report to list all folders
where a specific user is set as an owner. Use our
Active Directory Browser to select a user in any
    domain in your forest.
