Do the following steps to disable the update
notifications from Avast Antivirus

• The first step you have to do is simply
  right-click the Avast Antivirus icon in the
  taskbar of the computer device. After this, you
  have to click "Open Avast! User Interface"
• After this, you need to click "Settings" in the
  upper right corner of the interface
• Next steps simply click "Updates" option located
  on the left panel and then click "Details" to
  expand the section

  After Automatic Update" box to disable update
  notifications
• At the end, you need to click "OK" to save your
  changes.
