Steps To Fix The Problem Connecting Your Printer
To Windows 10
  1. Check if the printing device is plugged into the
    power supply and the switch is turned on. For
    wired printers, check the USB connection and the
    wireless connection for the wireless device.
  2. If all of the above has been checked, you can
    download and run the HP printing troubleshooter.
  3. If the troubleshooter has failed to troubleshoot
    the issue as well, your printer may need a new
    driver. To do that, right-click on the Start
    button of your computer gt Click on Device Manager
    gt Expand Printers gt Find your printer in the list
    gt Right-click on your printer's name gt select
    Update Driver.
  4. If this has failed to fix your problem as well,
    proceed to the advanced steps.

  • Type Services on the taskbar search, then select
    the same name.
  • In the Services list, double-click on Print
    Spooler gt Stop gt OK.
  • Again on the taskbar search, type
    WINDIR\system32\spool\printers, select the file
    folder of the same name and delete all files in
    the folder.
  • Now, go to Services again and double-click on the
    Print Spooler in the list.
  • Select Start gt Startup Type gt select Automatic gt
    OK.
