1Ulticon A Co-Donor in Operational Smiles Medical
Mission in Davao
2Ulticon Builders, Inc. (UBI) headed by Carlos
Charlie S. Gonzalez, is very passionate in
pursuing avenues to help build the nation,
including extending their assistance to
underprivileged youth and those seeking medical
assistance. The company firmly believes that the
children of today and generations to come are our
hope and the future movers and builders of our
country. Hence, we must do what we can to mold
them to and shape them into becoming the best
that they can be, emotionally, spiritually, and
physically.
3In November of 2017 UBI partnered with Operation
Smile Philippines Foundation, Inc. and extended
its assistance and donation to its medical
mission to do a series of reconstructive
surgeries for children with cleft lip and cleft
palate in Davao City, Philippines. This campaign
is also part of Operation Smiles 35th
anniversary with the theme Until We Heal which
is a global effort to advance the skills of cleft
care medical professionals and with the objective
to treat 2,300 patients all over our country by
2017. The said operation will help bring new
smiles for our 150 Davao children and it will be
held at Metro Davao Medical Research Center which
will begin on November of 2017 until January of
2018.
4The official signing of the agreement ceremony
was held at UCPB Corporate Offices with CEO
Higinio O. Macadaeg Jr., Operation Smile
Chairperson Edith Y. Villanueva with Vice
Chairperson Regina Anne A. Gonzalez, and Ulticon
Builders Inc. Vice President of Finance Beatrice
Gonzalez Magallanes. Furthermore, Ms. Villanueva
expressed her heartfelt gratitude and said that
We are grateful to UCPB and your co-donors for
your generosity. For the last 35 years, we have
survived because of people and companies like
you. This is the miracle of the smiles that we
bring to Filipino Children.
5Ulticon Builders, Inc. also thanks Operation
Smile Philippines foundation for this opportunity
to partner with them in their effort to give the
children this wonderful blessing. It warms UBIs
heart to be able to see these childrens smiles
become brighter, as bright as their future ahead,
now that they have received the medical care they
truly need.
