Who We Are
Joy Bungalow was one of the best Thailand resorts
built on Koh Jum back in 1990, long a backpacker
favorite and the best-known resort on the Island.
Joy Bungalow is of Thailands true travelers
meeting points. All kinds of people, from all
corners of the globe have made Koh Jum, and in
particular Joy Bungalow, their escape from the
rest of the world. This small, unpoint tropical
hide-away has a unique ambience which lends
itself to quiet contemplation and genuine feeling
of inner peace. The lack of electricity on the
Island enhances this feeling with oil lamps and
candles used for light. At JOY, we go out of
our way not to make our resort a business. Our

Bungalow in Koh Jum
The island is named Koh Jum which means Remember
Island situated between Krabi mainland and Lanta
Island. Operation started since 1990. Provided
"Haven on Earth" for foreign visitors for over 20
years. Prepare to stay longer than planned
because once you are settled you will not want to
leave!

Island Resort
For Sand, Sun, Beaches and Island lovers in its
natural setting. We are Joy Bungalow- best island
resort. A 30 units bungalow resort set in
tropical jungle on a longest stretch of white
sand beach on Jum Island. There is no electricity
on the island. We generate own electricity for
limited use in our restaurant from 6.00 - 10.00
pm. Guest will be provided with a lantern when
they check in. Visit us if you like nature as it
is given to us. The beach is full of crabs and
jungle full of birds. Come see the sun set behind
Phi Phi Island. The best time of day when white
sand turns into gold. You'll find out why
foreigners call us "Haven on Earth"! Private
Bungalow accommodation starts from 650 Baht to
3,400 Baht per night. We are printed in Thailand

Foods
Regular priced (Fried rice at Baht 50 per
serving, Medium Size Magaritta Home made Pizza at
Baht 130 per serving). We have suggested menus
which include Thai and European dishes. Made to
order can be provided especially if order in
advance. Anything from Phuket Lobster to Local
crabs, fishes, shells and squids. Book one of the
top-rated bungalows in Thailand.

Activities
Beach walk, jungle walk, catching crabs, beach
fishing, kayaking, bird watching, monkey
watching, hiking..etc.Rent a Kayak and fish for
squid and fish off the beach. Squid fishing is a
sure catch and good fun! Ask staff to buy plastic
bait from village.Rent a motorcycle from staff
at friendly cost and tour the Island and villages.

Fishing Rent a long tail boat fully equipped
with deep sea fishing equipments. Local
fisherman-boatman knows the best fishing spots!-
Long tail boat _at_THB 3,500 per day- Large Fishing
boat with Toilet, kitchen, sleeping area for 8
people _at_Thb 7,000 per day. Island hopping
snorkeling Charter a long tail boat for
snorkeling or Island hoppingSwimming Large
long stretch of the beach at Joy gently slopes
into the Andaman Sea, ideal from swimming and
skinny dipping!Beach Volleyball daily (Guest,
