What Is .net

• .NET is a programming language developed by
  Microsoft that primarly runs on Microsoft

• CLR is also popular as the name of Virtual
  Execution System (VES).

• Includes the thousands of classes that build the
  .NET Framework. The FCL services includes runtime
  core functionality (such as basic types and
  collections, accessing system services, file and
  network I/O, etc.), consuming, interaction with
  databases, producing XML File, and support for
  creating Web-based and desktop-based client
  applications, and SOAP-based XML Web services.

  "working" the same language and can interoperate
