• These waterproofing could be done in two Ways
• During Construction Phase
• After construction
• We dont need to tell you which is good way,

• Waterproofing during construction eliminates the
  scope of error and strengthens the structure.

• Never the less also, increases the life of
  Waterproofing and Structure both.
• Post Construction Waterproofing is said as
  Rehabilitation in other word a REPAIR. Which is
  effective but not as much as DC phase. Post
  Construction Waterproofing has its own limitation
  of Accessibility, Cost, Aesthetic and Pragmatic
  on the top it is a protection shield and not the
  original structure.

• 1.During Construction Phase Waterproofing
• (A) Over Head Water Tank / Elevated Water Tank
• i.Surface Treatment before Casting
• - Finish the surface with smoothening tools to
  the mother slab with 141 Cement to Sand mortar
  to RajaCreteAP mixed well.
• - Post finish apply Raja BaseCoat (Acrylic
  Polymer based highly flexible waterproof coating)
  to DFT of 2mm to 4mm for SLAB only.
• ii.Casting
• -Add Raja CreteAD (An integreal Waterproofing
  Compound) which reduces the void and makes
  concrete impermeable. (It is to be added to
  1Litre to 100Kgs of Cement by weight)
• Raja CreteAD makes any concrete impermeable if
  thickness of concrete is maintained at 6 inches
  with prescribed dosage.
• -If thickness is maintained at less than 6
  inches additional waterproofing is required.
• iii.Treatment after Casting Slab Retaining
  Walls
• - Applying Two Coats of Raja ChemCoat (Hybrid of
  PU and Acrylic polymer, highly flexible,
  Impervious and Elastic with High Bonding strength
  even in constant contact of Potable Water) in a
  DFT of 2mm per coat.

• (B) Underground Water Tank
• i.Surface Treatment before Casting
• - Surface has to be sound enough, in case
  bleeding surface use Raja Plug and seal off the
  bleeding surface and in case of porus surface use
  Raja PorSeal to seal off the porus surface.
• - In case of Deeper Tank, Use Shabad stoned Box
  Waterproofing to lower / break the negative water
  pressure. Raja TripleAction in filling the slurry
  in the joints.
• - Finish the surface with smoothening tools.
• ii.Casting
• - Add Raja CreteAD (An integreal Waterproofing
  Compound) which reduces the void and makes
  concrete impermeable. (It is to be added to
  1Litre to 100Kgs of Cement by weight)
• Raja CreteAD makes any concrete impermeable if
  thickness of concrete is maintained at 6 inches
  with prescribed dosage.
• - If thickness is maintained at less than 6
  inches additional waterproofing is required.
• iii.Treatment after Casting Slab Retaining
  Walls
• - Applying Two Coats of Raja CrMi (an intergral
  Crystalline based Waterproofing to resist the
  negative water pressure up to 10 bars).

• 2.After Construction Waterproofing
  (Rehabilitation)
• (A) Over Head Water Tank / Elevated Water Tank
• i.Cleaning The surface
• - Clean the surface thoroughly for loose portion,
  grece or any debris.
• - Surface coating of the Primer is recommended to
  ensure better adhesion of the Waterproofing
  Coating to the parent structure.
• ii.Waterproofing
• - Applying Two Coats of Raja ChemCoat (Hybrid of
  PU and Acrylic polymer, highly flexible,
  Impervious and Elastic with High Bonding strength
  even in constant contact of Potable Water) in a
  DFT of 2mm per coat.
• (B) Underground Water Tank
