SHADE STRUCTURES
Shade Structures have become a viable option to
provide fabric shade solutions in place of
traditional methods of steel, wood, canvass and
carports. The key difference that shade
structures offers is that we use UV stabilized
polyethylene shade netting resulting in maximum
benefits for outdoor shade applications. Our UV
stabilized polyethylene is constructed with UV
pellets that are included in the extrusion
process of the make-up of the polyethylene fibers
that comprise the shade structure canopy. This
stabilizer inclusion ensures that shade netting
withstands degradation by the sun outdoors. We

fabric structures for long years against fading,
rotting and mildew.

Structures in a variety of shapes and sizes for
applications including walkway structures,
barrel vault roofs, conical designs, suspended
flat panels and large custom designed umbrellas.
Our membrane structures are ideal for small
through to medium-sized commercial projects. We
have worked on a variety of iconic Australian and
international projects including shopping
centres, schools, stadiums, sporting complexs,
streetscape projects and resort developments. We
work very closely with our clients to develop
concepts and deliver innovative design outcomes
that offer maximum functionality and
durability. We start with a cost effective
alternative to traditional roofing systems and
this is a high grade architectural PVC fabric
that we can utilise multiple sheets of fabric and
fuse (weld) them together in a process known as
weldable seam technology, larger spans can be
achieved without loosing the integrity of the
yarn. The latest in fabric technology
is ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) membrane
it is even more durable and highly transparent,
it is lightweight in comparison to typical glass
structures. ETFE is currently considered the
material of choice for larger free-span
structures building facades internationally.
