HEK293 expression

• Human Embryonal Kidney 293 (HEK293) cells have
  been extensively used for the transient
  expression of recombinant proteins. Their ease of
  culture and highly efficient transfection rate
  make them especially suitable for customized
  protein production for research use.

CHO expression

• Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells, which have
  been successfully used for the manufacture of
  FDA-approved therapeutic proteins and antibodies,
  are prominent in stable expression. Stably
  transfected CHO cell line is the most suitable
  mammalian host for high-yield production of
  recombinant proteins. They are adaptable to
  diverse culture conditions. Protein purification
  from CHO culture is also relatively easy because
  of their secretory feature.
