Introduction

• PLC adapter can be used with a Wi-Fi extender for
  an uninterrupted power supply. PLC adapter
  usually works smoothly with any WiFi extender,
  but at times, the problem can arise. But, there
  is no need to worry, as today, we will be
  discussing the process of reset PLC adapter with
  Wi-Fi extender having 2 LEDs.

• Are you using a PLC adapter with your Wi-Fi
  extender? If yes, then check whether the LED
  indicator on the Wi-Fi extender is red or green.
  If it is red, then it means that the Wi-Fi is not
  communicating with the PLC adapter properly. The
  problem can be resolved by resetting the Wi-Fi
  extender and PLC adapters followed by resyncing
  both the devices.
• The following process is for the wireless range
  extender with 2 LEDs, so if you are using a 4 LED
  Wi-Fi extender, then the below-mentioned steps
  may not work for that device.

Reset

• The first step is to rest the Wi-Fi Extender and
  PLC adapter. First, reset your Wi-Fi extender.
  For that, press the reset button that is given
  below the device using a paper clip. Press it for
  10-12 seconds, and you will see the LED
  indicators with a long blink.
• Now, its time to reset PLC adapter. For that,
  you need to press the button that is either given
  on the side or under the adapter, which is
  connected to the B-Box. Press the button for
  around 20 seconds, and your PLC player will
  reset.
• After resetting both devices, you will have to
  resync the Wi-Fi extender and PLC player one by
  one. Follow below-given steps for syncing.

Synchronization

• Unplug Wi-Fi extender from the mains, and then,
  plug it back in. But, make sure that it is
  connected close to the B-Box. Wait for 45 seconds
  after plugging the device back in.
• Press Home button on the Wi-Fi extender for 2
  seconds.
• Press the button that is given on the side or
  under the PLC adapter for 2 seconds. You will see
  that the LED indicator corresponding to the
  Home option will become solid white. Keep
  pressing the button until you see that white LED.

• Press WPS button on the B-Box for 2-3 seconds
  or until the LED indicators glows.
• Now, press Home button on the Wi-Fi extender
  for about 5 seconds.
• The Wi-Fi indicator on the Wi-Fi extender is
  going to blink for about 2 minutes. So, when this
  indicator turns white, it means, the syncing is
  done.
• As soon as the LED indicators becomes stable, you
  can take back the Wi-Fi extender to its previous
  location and connect it again.
