The problem of a webcam is not working that is

  arrow to the left of imaging devices.

  automatically detect and install the Webcam
  drivers.
• Update BIOS and also update to the latest
  chipset version.
• Ensure that the brightness settings and lighting
  are correct.

  wrong mode. Ensure to use the webcam in a
  well-lighted room.
• Adjust the brightness setting in the Skype
  software or the application through which you
  want to video chat.
• Run the Dell computer diagnostics for webcam
  problems.
• Select Camera under Test a specific device or
  create a custom test.
• Select Test Selected Devices and follow the
  prompts.
