Jeff Epstein started as a Metallurgical Engineer
from the Colorado School of Mines. The company
quickly grew and by 1995, had sales over 1
million per year. Sales doubled again by the year
2000. The company established a niche in oilfield
wear part applications. In fact, a US Patent was
awarded to the company for a ceramic oilfield
application. In 1998, advanced razor blades
became a major focus for the company.
