• PHP Hypertext Preprocessor (or simply PHP) is a
  server-side scripting language designed for web
  development but also used as a general-purpose
  programming language. It was originally created
  by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994 the PHP reference
  implementation is now produced by The PHP Group.

Data type

• PHP stores integers in a platform-dependent
  range, either a 64-bit or 32-bit signed integer

  integers are converted to signed values in

  the native Boolean types in Java and C. Using
  the Boolean type conversion rules, non-zero
  values are interpreted as true and zero as false,
  as in Perl and C
