• The steps to configure N300 Netgear model on your
  network are discussed here in this blog post.
  Read them carefully.
• Turn on Wi-Fi extender
• The very first step is to unpack the product from
  box and switch it on.
• Place the extender in the same room where you
  have placed your router.
• Plug the extender into power supply.
• Wait for LED to turn green.
• If you notice no LED on panel, then press the
  power button.

Link your Wireless extender to the router

• Read the guided manual given inside the product
  box or follow the steps mentioned below.
• Connect your Netgear model to a computer network.
  The guided instructions for your model may vary
  depending on OS installed on your computer. If
  you are using windows 10, then click on the
  system tray.
• An open list of available networks. You will find
  NETGEAR_EXT. Click to connect to it.
• Launch internet browser and type mywifiext.net in
  the space provided for URL.
• Click on New Extender setup.

• Fill the required details to create an account.
• Click Next.
• Now, you will find the wireless networks on the
  screen. Tap on the network which you want to
  extend.
• Click Next.
• You will be prompted to enter the password for
  Wireless network. Enter the same password you use
  earlier.

• Generate new name and password for your extender.
  It is recommended to add _EXT at the end of
  network name. This will help you to distinguish
  between the router and other wireless devices.
  You can set same password for your extender which
  you have set for your wireless network.
• Create network booster username and password
  followed by Next.
• You will now get a list of Wi-Fi rates in the
  form of pop-up message. Click Ok according to
  your preference.

• The extender will now start installing. You need
  to sit back and relax.
• Connect other devices which are using the same
  network with the booster. If you used to connect
  your phone to Wi-Fi network with name OURWIFI,
  then you will find the same name along with _EXT
  at the end. Click on it, to get connected. Enter
  the password for the same.
• Repeat the same steps for other devices as well.
  It can be a tablet, computer, and phone. If you
  dont want to connect the devices right now, then
  you can connect them later.

• Click on the checkbox given next to connected
  devices. Click to continue.
• You may now get pop-up on the screen which
  reminds you to create a bookmark for Netgear
  page. If you want to create, then click Yes.
• A registration page will be opened on screen. You
  need to select the device which you want to
  register. If you dont want to register as of
  now, then you can do this step later.

Discover your extender for best performance

• Once the installation of extender gets completed,
  you can now turn it off. The next objective is to
  place the extender at an optimal place. Try not
  to place your extender at the dead spot because
  you will not be able to get signal strength at
